1. Giving "Tylenol" or any ibuprofen product to cats could possibly causes Death!

2. 59 - 70% Antifreeze poisonings in pets are fatal. Dogs: lethal dose is 3ccs per pound of dog. Cats: lethal dose is 3/4cc per pound of cat.

3. Burned Motor Oil is NOT a cure for mange. Ask your vet about the correct way to treat mange.

4. Pets don't always cry from pain! 1 out of every 5 adult dogs have mobility problems. Arthritis is often the problem. Ask your vet how you can manage your pets comfort level for LIFE.

5. 2700 pets were euthanized in Beaufort County in 2007 due to over population and indifferences! This year take a stand to prevent this.  ADOPT!  NEUTER!  SPAY!

6. Milk is not a good source of nutrition for puppies and kittens. 5 weeks and under: ask your vet about the proper diet. Animals over 5 weeks: quality puppy or kitten food and fresh water is a balanced diet.

7. Tuna Fish intended for human consumption should not be fed to cats as their diet! A tiny bit as a treat is okay, usually. Tuna fish lacks "Taurine" which is necessary for a healthy heart and eyes in cats.

8. NO BONES!!! Cooked or raw, all bones are potentially dangerous when ingested by your pet! One bone could be a surgery or......DEATH!

9. Dogs should be allowed to go into heat or have puppies once before spaying.  NOT TRUE!! In fact, everytime a dog goes through a heat cycle the risk of cancer increases. Also, Fact #5 would be much lower!!!
