Marleta M. Poffenberger DVM
Dr. Poffenberger graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985 and moved to Washington shortly after graduation. She grew up in Maryland and attended University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree. Since making her home in North Carolina, she has married and raised three childern. Her interests include serving as president of the Humane Society of Beaufort County and attending activities involving her children.

Dana W. Eddings DVM
Dr. Eddings received a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served in the United States Marine Corp where he attained the rank of Captain. After serving in the Marine Corps he attended North Carolina State University and received a B.S. degree in Zoology. He graduated from Auburn University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1979.
"Though I don't work as much as I used to, I very much enjoy practicing veterinary medicine. I don't think I will ever tire of helping our clients with their special pets."
Dr. Eddings enjoys traveling, especially in Central America, where he has done mission work for about 20 years. He also enjoys most anything outdoors from tennis to hiking, bird watching, gardening, hunting and fishing. His newest endeavor is water color painting.
